Emissions Reduction Targets
Satigo has adopted the following carbon reduction trajectory:
- Reduce emissions by 50% against 2023 baseline by 2027.
- Reduce emissions by a further 25% by 2029.
- Achieve Net Zero across Scopes 1, 2 and 3 by 2030.
Carbon Reduction Projects
Key initiatives to date:
- Transitioned to a remote-first business model, eliminating commuting and office-related emissions.
- Downsized then exited office premises, reducing Scope 2 emissions.
- Increased use of virtual meetings to minimise travel.
- Encouraged employee adoption of renewable energy suppliers at home.
- Ongoing education and awareness programmes on energy reduction.
- Commitment to explore environmental volunteering days for staff.
Future focus:
- Maintain low travel intensity through technology-led remote collaboration.
- Introduce carbon offsetting measures to neutralise unavoidable emissions (e.g., business travel).
Declaration and Sign Off
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 006 and the supporting guidance and reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans.
Emissions have been reported and recorded in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the GHG Reporting Protocol Corporate Standard, using the appropriate Government emission conversion factors for greenhouse gas reporting.
Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions have been reported in accordance with SECR requirements. The required subset of Scope 3 emissions (business travel, employee commuting, waste generated in operations, upstream and downstream transportation and distribution) have been reported in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard.
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been reviewed and approved by the Satigo Ltd Board of Directors.
